Somebody did a golden deed,
Somebody proved a friend in need.
Somebody said I'm glad to give,
Somebody said that's how I live.
To be of service to your fellow (wo)man
Is great comfort to those who can.
Making the load somewhat lighter
And the outlook somewhat brighter.
